(Undated) – Another local not for profit organization has benefited from the generosity of Crawford County 100 Women Who Care. They recently gathered for their second quarterly meeting of 2020 at the Pavilion in the City Park and via a Facebook live stream. The group voted to make their second donation of 2020 to the First United Methodist Church N.O.W Program, which feeds children in our communities. According to Barb Shimer, the total donation is still being tabulated and will be presented to the N.O.W program soon. The next meeting of Crawford County 100 Women Who care is scheduled for September 17th, at the Robinson Park Pavilion. The nominees for the next donation are Think Pink, The Kiwanis Washington Park Bathroom Project, and the RHS Academic Alumni Association. Crawford County 100 Women Who Care is an independent part of a larger movement across the country. Interested Crawford County women are invited to attend to find out more about the organization or join and become a voting member. For more information, find them on Facebook.
