(Undated) – A single vehicle accident sent a Casey woman to the hospital with minor injuries yesterday. According to the Illinois State Police, 56-year-old Melanie Brandenburg was eastbound on I-70 when she lost control as a result of the heavy rain. The vehicle she was driving slid into the center median and had to be towed from the scene. Brandenburg was citied for Driving Too Fast for Conditions.
