Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded fell five cents over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $3.47 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.83 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.58 a gallon, down six cents from Friday. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest average in the nation at $2.89 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. California drivers are paying $4.73 a gallon, down four cents from Friday.
