(Vincennes, IN) — Vincennes University’s basketball season came to an end yesterday at the hands of defending national NJCAA champion Northwest Florida State. The Blazers were defeated 68-55 in the NJCAA Quarterfinals at Hutchison, Kansas. Despite a second half rally by VU, the Raiders pulled away for the victory. Caleb Johnson and Kris King each scored 12 to lead VU, with Shilo Jackson adding a double-double with 11 points and 10 boards. The Blazers end the season at 30-6, marking VU’s 19th 30-win season in its history.
