Countywide Burn Ban in Effect Until Further Notice

(Undated) – Local authorities have announced a “burn ban” for Crawford County. Following an extended period of dry conditions, the Crawford County Sheriff’s Department, Crawford County EMA, and fire departments countywide have issued the county-wide “burn ban.” This ban does not include outdoor food preparation. If using fire pits, be extremely cautious. Authorities will announce when the ban is lifted.
