(Undated) – Kevin Bowers is leaving Lincoln Trail College. Bowers has spent more than 20 years at LTC. He came to the college in 2002 as an assistant under then-coach Mitch Hannahs and he became the Head Coach of the Statesmen in 2010. In his tenure with LTC, Bowers has been a part of four teams that have advanced to the NJCAA Super Regionals, three teams that have claimed conference championships, and three teams that have earned Region 24 titles. He’s seen over 175 of his players move on to NCAA Division I institutions and 23 have signed professional contracts. He’s coached four NJCAA All-Americans. Collin Maynard has been named the new Head Baseball Coach at Lincoln Trail College following the departure of Bowers. Maynard has served as the Pitching Coach for the Statesmen for the past two seasons.
