(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has ticked back up slightly. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, it has climbed three cents from Wednesday to $3.51. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen a penny to $3.84 a gallon. It has also fallen a penny in Indiana, where the statewide average is $3.32 a gallon. California is paying the highest price in the continental U.S. at $4.80 a gallon. Drivers in Mississippi are paying just $2.95 a gallon.
