(Robinson) – Lincoln Trail College has a new President. Tona Ambrose marks the 12th President in Lincoln Trail College’s history. Ambrose had been serving as the Director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning at IECC for the last two years. She will also serve as the Vice Chancellor of Institutional Outreach for Illinois Eastern Community Colleges. IECC Chancellor, Dr. Ryan Gower, says Ambrose brings a proven track record of project management and relationship building that is exactly what the College and the District need at this critical juncture. Ambrose will begin her new position on August 7th.
