(Undated) – While summer break is “winding down” for students, teachers are voicing their concerns about social media. The nation’s second-largest teachers union says it’s “fed-up” with social media’s impact on students. The American Federation of Teachers said Thursday it was “losing patience” with social media apps, that it says are contributing to mental health problems and misbehavior in classrooms nationwide. The union issued a report warning that tech companies should do something before Congress forces them to do so. The federation has one point seven million members.
