(Undated) – Hot and humid weather looks to stick around. CMH ER Director and R.N., Sarah Burke, says there are some symptoms to look out for during these hot days.
She says if you are going to be outside for extended periods you need to drink more than just water.
Burke says if you have done everything to cool down but still feel tired, nauseated, like you are going to pass out or develop chest pains it is time to seek help. She says if you have ever had heat exhaustion or heat stroke you are more susceptible to the heat and you should take additional precautions.
