Keep Your Home Safe While on Vacation

(Undated) – It’s summer vacation season and each summer homes across the nation are broken into and burglarized while families are on vacation. Authorities remind the public, do not post vacation photos while you are away. Posting such photos to your social media is advertising to the criminals that your home is sitting vacant. Law Enforcement recommends if you post your vacation photos, do so after you return home. Other safety tips include putting a pause on mail delivery, park a vehicle in your driveway, don’t leave a spare key outside, and having a friend or neighbor keep an eye on your house while you are gone.
