(Oblong) – The Village of Oblong is asking for residents’ help. Oblong Mayor, Teresa Fielder, recently took to social media to remind Oblong Public Works customers about a questionnaire they may have received in the mail concerning water service lines within the Village. According to Fielder, OPW is mandated by the Illinois EPA to collect and document this data. She says the questionnaire needs to be filled out and mailed back, via the included self-addressed stamped envelope, as soon as possible. She says if you have any questions, or if you would like some help in filling it out, call Dale at 618-592-3122 or bring the form to the Oblong Public Works office Monday-Friday 8 am-1 pm.
