(Santa Claus, IN) — Holiday World and Splashin’ Safari have announced a new ten-million-dollar family roller coaster called “Good Gravy.” They say the fifteen-hundred-foot coaster is “a wild ride to save Thanksgiving dinner.” The southern Indiana theme park says the Dutch-made coaster is a family boomerang, the first of its kind to open in North America. Guests will board a train shaped like a giant gravy boat, which will be pulled backward uphill before flying forwards through the station onto a cranberry-colored track, flying through a giant cranberry jelly can before narrowly avoiding a 20-foot-tall whisk and an 18-foot-tall rolling pin before flying up a seventy-seven-foot-tall spike and repeating the journey backward. Park officials say construction has already begun and the ride is expected to be open to the public in May of 2024.
