Gas Prices Continue to Surge

(Undated) – Gas prices continue to climb. Industry experts are blaming the high prices on extreme heat and oil production cuts. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.83 a gallon, a dime increase from Monday. The statewide average here in the Land of Lincoln has jumped to over four dollars a gallon, currently hovering around $4.05, eight cents higher than the beginning of the week. In Indiana, the statewide average is also eight cents higher than Monday at $3.77 a gallon.
