(Undated) – It was a tough start to the high school football season for both county teams. The RHS Maroons fell to Effingham on Friday night 31-7. The OPH Wildcats got behind early in their season opener on Saturday falling to Lawrenceville 68-19. RHS will be back in action Friday for a road trip to Taylorville. The Wildcats will also be on the road Friday Night as they head to Casey for a 7 pm kickoff.
