(Undated) – COVID cases appear to be on the rise statewide. However, the Illinois Department of Public Health says the numbers remain low in every county. They say they are closely watching COVID-19 data and also monitoring other respiratory viruses ahead of the fall and winter seasons. The CDC is expected to issue guidance next month about the newly developed COVID boosters for fall.
