Prank Call to Oblong Grade Remains Under Investigation

(Oblong) – A “prank” call of violence at Oblong Grade School remains under investigation. According to Oblong Police Chief, Colton Williamson, he responded to the school last Wednesday following a call to 911. Dispatch was able to verify the threat originated from a “spoofed number” not near the school. Students were held at the school until law enforcement verified the threat was not credible.
