(Robinson) – The Robinson Police Department released Labor Day enforcement numbers yesterday. According to Robinson Police Chief, Chad Weaver, the Robinson Police Department made two DUI arrests during the recent Labor Day impaired driving campaign. In addition, they made one arrest for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. They also issued four Unlawful Possession of Adult Use Cannabis in a Motor Vehicle and one Driving While License Suspended citations. Weaver says through the Labor Day enforcement effort, they helped to make roads safer and remind motorists that impaired driving is not a game. The effort was made possible by federal highway safety funds distributed by the Illinois Department of Transportation.
