Use The Falling Leaves Don’t Bag Them

University of Illinois Extension Horticulture and Natural Resources Program Coordinator, Sarah Ruth, says instead of bagging up your leaves to be hauled away, use them as mulch. Ruth says you can also use the leaves around flowers, shrubs, or other natural landscaping as insulation against the frigid temperatures of winter.
