(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded continues to fall. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen four cents from Friday to $3.39. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is a dime higher at $3.49, down three cents from Friday. In Indiana, the statewide average is $3.26 a gallon, down three cents from Friday. Eight states, including Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, and South Carolina have statewide averages below three dollars a gallon. California drivers are paying $5.12 a gallon.
