(Undated) – If you are hitting the road for Thanksgiving, you are not alone. According to estimates from Triple A, Illinois will see the second highest number of travelers for the Thanksgiving holiday since 2005. They are also offering a couple of travel tips. Triple A says if you are hitting the road, do so before 11 a.m. to avoid the peak travel time between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. An estimated two-point-four million people are expected to be on the road today, typically the busiest day of the holiday break. Triple A says, for anyone taking to the air, yesterday and today are the busiest travel days for the holiday.
