(Undated) – The Robinson Unit 2, Oblong Unit 4, and Palestine Unit 3 Boards will review a resolution proposal during their board meetings tonight. They will review a resolution directing the Regional Superintendent of Schools for Crawford County to certify to Crawford County Clerk, Beckie Staley, to add a resolution question to the March 2024 General Primary ballot. The question would be to impose a “retailers’ occupation tax” and a “service occupation tax” to be used exclusively for school facility purposes, school resource officers, and mental health professionals.
