(Undated) – Drivers are getting an early gift just in time for holiday travel. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen to $3.04 a gallon, down nine cents from a week ago. The statewide average here in Illinois has fallen thirteen cents from a week ago to $3.12 a gallon. Drivers in Indiana are paying a statewide average of $2.73 a gallon, twenty-five cents lower than last Monday. Texas has the lowest statewide average at $2.48 a gallon. California drivers are paying an average of $4.57 a gallon.
