(Undated) – If you are currently making “minimum wage” in Illinois, you are set to get a raise in 2024. The Illinois minimum wage is set to increase another dollar on January 1st. The new required minimum wage will be $14 an hour. There have been six increases in the state minimum wage since Governor, JB Pritzker, signed legislation in 2019 that establishes a schedule of wage increases. The measure puts Illinois on the path to a $ 15-an-hour minimum wage by 2025.
