(Undated) – The recent blast of cold weather is giving way to unseasonably warm temperatures for Christmas. According to Ed Shimon at the National Weather Service, as we head into the Christmas weekend, temperatures are going to be well above average.
Shimon says the temperatures are likely to stay that way through at least the middle of next week.
He says the cold weather the last couple of days followed by a warm-up is just an example of the types of “ebbs-and-flows” we’ll experience this winter of El Nino.
