(Undated) – 2023 proved to be a banner year for scammers and online scams once again topped the list. With that in mind, the Better Business Bureau is offering some tips to avoid scams in 2024. Those tips include being wary of unsolicited emails. If you haven’t met a person face-to-face, don’t send them money. Research the retailer before entering payment information when shopping online. Never share personal information such as birth date, address, Social Security number, or Medicare number with an unsolicited caller.
