(Undated) – During his combined “State of the State” and Budget address on Wednesday Governor, JB Pritzker, called for the General Assembly to end a state sales tax.
He also called for spending to support early childhood education and asked for funds to continue to care for migrants and asylum seekers who have been bussed here from Texas. Pritzker’s budget also calls for increasing taxes on corporations and sports betting operations.
