(Undated) – As we head into the first weekend of March gas prices are on the rise. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is up ten cents from Monday to $3.35 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.69 a gallon, up twenty-two cents from the beginning of the week. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the average is twenty-six cents higher than Monday at $3.44 a gallon. Mississippi drivers are enjoying the lowest prices in the nation at $2.85 a gallon, while drivers in California are paying the highest prices at $4.74 a gallon.
