IDPH Following CDC’s Lead on COVID Restrictions

(Undated) – The Illinois Department of Public Health is adopting the new rules from the CDC when it comes to COVID isolation. Last week the CDC announced the ending of its five-day isolation rule. Instead, they are now telling people to stay home, or stay away from others “until their symptoms are better.” That could be more or less than five days. The IDPH says the rules allow for more flexibility.
