(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded remained largely unchanged over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.45 a gallon, a penny lower than Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average remains $3.68 a gallon. In Indiana, the statewide average has jumped eight cents from Friday to $3.54 a gallon. Mississippi has the lowest statewide average in the nation at $3 even. California drivers are paying $4.87 a gallon.
