County Schools to be Closed for the Eclipse

(Undated) – The eclipse is coming up in April and Crawford County Schools will not be in session. According to the schools, due to concerns about high traffic throughout Crawford County during school dismissal times on April 8th, there will be no classes. The decision was made after being in contact with local and state officials. The conclusion was the increase in traffic could impact bus travel and the availability of response personnel in the case of an emergency. The Districts will be sending home eclipse glasses for all students to observe the eclipse. This school day will be made up in all districts as a result.
