(Undated) – The Crawford County Health Department is celebrating a recent donation to its “Cancer Comfort Bag” program. According to the CCHD, they recently received thirty-seven “Thirty-One” bags from the Buckets For Blain Foundation. Blain Loll was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2022 and his story helped to jump-start the “Cancer Comfort Bag” program. CCHD representative says it was while trying to help find resources for him and his family, that the program was born. The program provides a tote bag filled with comfort items and essentials to Crawford County residents battling cancer. While CCHD promotes, organizes, and distributes the bags, the program is 100% donation-based. Learn more about the program by visiting the CCHD on Facebook.
