(Undated) – Indiana has taken the steps needed to secure national aid ahead of the April 8th eclipse. Indiana Governor, Eric Holcomb, has signed a disaster order that will allow the state to call on national aid if needed. State officials expect a “widespread and significant” impact on Indiana’s infrastructure systems. Holcomb says it could create a “technological or other emergency.” The order will allow the Indiana Department of Homeland Security to get support from the National Emergency Management Assistance Compact.
