(Robinson) – The eclipse is today and “transient traffic” is the primary concern for local law enforcement.
That was Robinson Police Chief, Chad Weaver. Weaver says Route 1 and Route 33 will likely see the highest volume of traffic. He also says if you find yourself in “slow-moving traffic” pay attention.
The peak of “totality” for the eclipse, for this area, will be between 2:03 p.m. and 2:07 p.m. Weaver says the increased traffic is likely to begin shortly after the eclipse and could continue for several hours.
