(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen two cents from a week ago. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the current national average is $3.68 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is a penny higher than last Friday at $3.95 a gallon. However, drivers in Indiana are enjoying prices that are nine cents lower than a week ago, hovering around $3.61 a gallon. Mississippi drivers are paying the lowest prices with a statewide average of $3.06 a gallon. California drivers are paying the highest prices at $5.39 a gallon.
