(Undated) – Crawford County Sheriff, Bill Rutan, and Chief of Corrections, Fred Chinn, recently took to social media to highlight the work of correctional officers during “National Correctional Officers’ Week.” They say they would like to recognize and thank all of the officers that work hard at the county jail. They say physical and emotional demands are made daily and correctional officers are an important and necessary job that requires skill, patience, dedication and courage.
