(Undated) – Gas prices slipped lower over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen to $3.56, down a nickel from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen to $3.85 a gallon, down three cents. However, across the river in Indiana, the statewide average has jumped six cents to $3.62. Mississippi drivers continue to pay the lowest price in the nation with a statewide average of $3.01 a gallon, down a penny from Friday. California drivers are paying an average of $5.14 a gallon, down six cents from Friday.
