CMH Says Know the Signs of Stroke and “BE FAST”

(Undated) – Crawford Memorial Hospital is reminding the public to “BE FAST.” They say this simple phrase can help you determine if someone is having a stroke. “B” is for balance, watch for unsteadiness. “E” is for eyes, blurred vision is a warning sign. “F” is for face, watch for facial drooping. “A” is for arm, weakness or an inability to lift an arm is a common symptom. “S” is for speech, watch for slurred speech. “T” is for time, as soon as you notice even one of these symptoms call 911. CMH says knowing the warning signs can save a life. May is National Stroke Awareness Month.
