(Undated) – The national average for a gallon regular unleaded fell two cents over the weekend. According to this morning’s number from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.42 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the current statewide average is $3.81 a gallon, down two cents from Friday. In Indiana, the statewide average is $3.51 a gallon, falling four cents over the weekend. Mississippi has the lowest price in the nation at $2.89 a gallon while drivers in California are paying the most with a statewide average of $4.75 a gallon.
