Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen a nickel. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.14 a gallon, down five cents from Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen four cents from Friday to $3.41 a gallon. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.10 a gallon, down five cents from Friday. Several states are enjoying averages below three dollars a gallon with Mississippi leading the way with an average of $2.63. California has the highest price at $4.60 a gallon.
