(Undated) — The American Red Cross is issuing an urgent appeal for volunteers who are willing to travel. According to the Red Cross, more than twelve hundred Red Cross disaster responders are currently working across the Carolinas, Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida. However, Executive Director, Beth Elders, says more volunteers are needed.
Anyone interested in volunteering must complete the necessary training and be able to commit to a two-week deployment. You can sign up online at redcross.org/volunteer.
