Gas Prices Slip Lower Over the Weekend

(Undated) – Gas prices slipped slightly lower over the weekend. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average has fallen two cents to $3.47 a gallon. Here in Illinois, the statewide average has fallen to $3.77, down three cents from Friday. On the other side of the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.46 a gallon, down four cents over the weekend. Mississippi continues to be the only state in the nation with an average price per gallon below $3. The current statewide average is $2.95 a gallon. Drivers in California are paying the most with an average of $4.71, down two cents over the weekend.
