National Average Remains Unchanged

(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded remains largely unchanged from Monday. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.14 a gallon. However, here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.32 a gallon, down five cents from Monday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average has fallen below three dollars a gallon at $2.98, down eight cents from Monday. Texas has the lowest prices in the nation at $2.64 a gallon. California has the highest statewide average at $4.57 a gallon.
