Burn Ban Continues Countywide

(Undated) – Despite rain received last week, the countywide burn ban continues. As a result of the ongoing dry conditions, a countywide burn ban was put into effect last week. Authorities are reminding the public that at this time all fires are banned except contained fires for cooking purposes. The burn ban will remain in effect until a “substantial” rainfall has occurred in our area. The current forecast from the National Weather Service is calling for a chance of rain overnight Wednesday night and into Thursday.
