Board of Elections Say Voter Fraud is Very Unlikely

(Undated) – It’s Election Day and the Illinois State Board of Elections wants to eliminate any concerns of voter fraud. The agency’s Matt Dietrich says election tabulation machines are never connected to the internet.

He says even the data cards used to program the machines are prepared using computers that are not connected to the internet. The polls will remain open until 7 p.m. this evening for in-person voting.
