Windy and Hot Weather Forecast for the Area

(Undated) – While we didn’t get hit with severe weather from last night’s storms we did receive a bit of rain. Here at the Classic Hits, WTYE, studio, we recorded .65 inches of rain from the remnants of “Hurricane Beryl.” According to the National Weather Service, it will continue to affect our weather today as well, bringing high winds through the day. They say hot and humid conditions will develop late this weekend into early next week, with the potential for heat indices up to 105 degrees on Sunday and Monday.
