(Undated) – The Better Business Bureau is issuing a warning ahead of the holiday season. However, this one isn’t for shoppers but rather workers. Retailers and shippers across the nation will be hiring hundreds of thousands of seasonal employees this holiday season, but the BBB says not everyone is on the up-and-up. BBB Investigator Dan O’Brien says employment scams continue to put people at risk, especially if you are looking at a work-from-home opportunity.
O’Brien says, as with most scams, if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is and you should beware of offers that promise big money for little work.
