(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has fallen a penny. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.08 a gallon, down a cent from last Friday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is three cents higher than a week ago, hovering around $3.22 a gallon. Across the Wabash in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.06 a gallon, up thirteen cents from last Friday. Oklahoma has the lowest prices in the nation at $2.51 a gallon, down four cents from a week ago. California has the highest statewide average at $4.44, four cents lower than last Friday.
