CCSD Reminds Drivers to Drive Safe on Winter Roads

(Undated) – The Crawford County Sheriff’s Department recently took to social media to remind drivers to take extra caution on area roads during winter. Drivers are reminded to slow down on icy and snow-covered roads, avoid sudden stops and quick turns, don’t use cruise control, look out for slick spots on bridges and overpasses, keep your car’s windows clear, plan ahead, and have an emergency kit. Drivers are also reminded to look out for road crews and snow plows. If you are following or approaching a snowplow, slow down, give them room to work, and never try to pass.
