(Undated) – The national average for a gallon of regular unleaded has moved back above three dollars. According to this morning’s numbers from GasBuddy.com, the national average is $3.03 a gallon, six cents higher than Monday. Here in Illinois, the statewide average is $3.22 a gallon, ten cents higher than Monday. Across the river in Indiana, the statewide average is $3.06 a gallon, an eighteen-cent jump from Monday. Oklahoma drivers are paying the lowest prices in the nation with an average of $2.47 a gallon, five cents higher than Monday. Those in California are paying the higher prices at $4.29 a gallon, down two cents from the beginning of the week.
